Our Story. It all started
with a simple idea:

Megan van der Merwe, the driving force behind VDM Tax & Legal Consultants, is a highly accomplished attorney and notary with a rich background in commercial law and tax litigation. With over seven years of hands-on experience, she has earned a reputation for her exceptional skill in navigating complex tax disputes and legal challenges.

Megan’s academic journey is equally impressive, having earned a PhD in Tax Policy from the University of Pretoria. Her deep understanding of tax law is complemented by her active membership in the International Fiscal Association, South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) and the Golden Key Honour Society. Beyond her consultancy work, Megan serves as a chairperson in disputes before the South African Tax Board.

Through VDM Tax & Legal Consultants, Megan channels her extensive knowledge and passion into delivering top-tier tax and legal solutions, making her a trusted partner for clients seeking expert guidance and effective outcomes.
